Founding of Assam Timber products Manufacturing Plywood & Blockboards
In 1976, Assam Timber Products Pvt Ltd was founded by Mr Deendayal Daga. The company mainly dealt with the manufacturing of tea-chests and saw timbers. The business was small at first but grew extraordinarily once Mr Daga paved the way to expand the mill to a full-fledged Veneering and Plywood manufacturing unit. The products manufactured and offered were not limited to Assam but also exported to Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh. Started under the name of Assam Timber Products Pvt Ltd, the company attained the heights of success when Archidply, the new manufacturing unit, of Waterproof Plywood and Blockboard, was launched.
