Introduction

What are High Pressure Laminate Sheets?
High pressure laminates (HPL) are a variety of decorative laminated that are produced by impregnating layers of kraft paper with melamine resin. These sheets are then infused with a decorative paper and an outer layer for protection.High pressure laminate sheets are moulded and cured at a pressure higher than 72kg/cm2. The common range of pressure varies between 80 and 140 kg/cm2. Although the same technique is used to produce low pressure laminates, the aspect that segregates the two is the level of pressure applied on the production process.
Archidply HPL
Archidlam high pressure laminates are manufactured using modified phenol formaldehyde resin with a special molecular ratio to impart strong bonding in the laminates. The use of the state of the art high pressure laminate press gives the product increased dimensional stability. In addition, our Swiss make sanding machine ensures uniformity and a well sanded surface for better adherence of the adhesive and more efficient use of glue.
