The Group has diversified its activities into Tea manufacturing and has established Shree Shyam Tea Pvt. Ltd., at Doom Dooma, a quality tea belt. The company procures standard quality Green tea leaves from nearby small tea growers and from Arunachal Pradesh (Bordhumsa). In this facility, the raw tea is dried, crushed, oxidised and graded. Presently the company is manufacturing 1.2 mn kgs of Tea per annum. The tea is then marketed under the names of Bordhumasa Tea.
