The Archidply
Group acquired Mysore Chipboards in 1995 primarily
to manufacture plain particle board. Following an
extensive modernisation and expansion drive, this
plant, spread over 32 acres, manufactured plywood,
block board, decorative veneers, plain particle board
and pre-laminated Boards. This plant undertakes numerous
measures for environmental Conservation, such as using
short cycle rotation timber. Most of the wood panels
from this plant comes from its eucalyptus plantations
which it uses optimally. The particle boards it manufactures
use only 'Lops and Tops' leaving the main tree untouched. |
