It has also promoted a Tea plantation in Arunachal Pradesh by name Bordhumsa Tea Estates Pvt. Ltd. situated in the foothills of Changlang district of Arunachal Pradesh. Spread over 130 acres of sandy loam soil, this estate grows high-quality tea in its plantations. The PH value of the soil is 4.5% to 5.5%; ideal for a good yield of high-grade tea. Upon maturity, these tea leaves and buds are carefully plucked and processed to bring out the many flavours of good Assam Tea. The Bordhumsa Tea Estate Pvt. Ltd. then supplies these processed tea leaves to Shree Shyam Tea Pvt. Ltd. for further processing.
