Founded in 1976 by Mr. Deendayal Daga, this company commenced with the manufacturing of tea-chests and saw timber. During 1976-1995 the company grew from a small saw mill to a conglomerate of Veneering and Plywood manufacturing in the hilly terrains of Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh and Assam. The company commenced manufacturing of Waterproof Plywood and Block Boards under the brand name of Archidply. Soon, through its excellence, it had established a name for itself in the market under the name of Archidply. Assam Timber Products Ltd. has now successfully revived after its closure in 1996 and is manufacturing superior Quality Block Board and Plywood.
